About Me
Watching my father with his camera and seeing the art he created throughout my childhood had a profound effect on me. When I became a mother, I realized how important all the little details are in the way we remember our little ones as they grow. After capturing countless images of my own two children (you will see them all through this website), I began to focus on cultivating my craft so that I could have the privilege of preserving all of those fleeting moments for other families. With the tremendous support of my husband and my extended family, I have been able to pursue the fun and fulfilling pursuit of photography.
In my studio, you will experience a laid back session with just the right amount of fun and silliness encouraged to fully express all the unique personalities that make up your family! I allow plenty of time for snacks, feedings, diaper changes–even short breaks for your children to have a few minutes to get the wiggles out . My experience as a full time elementary school teacher has given me a great deal of patience and understanding when dealing with children, including those with special needs. My goal is to capture your family at this moment, without the stress and rush of a chain studio.
